Step One...

Today I tried the new ward. I gotta say, it was nice walking into church and being able to focus on the lesson and not wondering if I looked alright or feeling stupid about something I said to the guy that opened the door for me.
It was nice to be in a ward where there was diversity in people and variety in lessons. I am not knocking my single's ward, but I had a good experience in the new ward. What I kept thinking about was that this was a ward that could use me. There were people I could serve and places where my gifts might make a difference. It was a good start. And isn't it nice to know that Heavenly Father knows us and can use us in every setting?? I am appreciative of that knowledge.
