Okay, today I am sick. One of my friends used to say when she was sick that she was "dying ugly." That's how I feel...I am dying ugly. Luckily, I have family in the area that can bring me some soup because there is nothing worse than being sick and having no one around to sympathize.
I never thought about that kind of thing until I lived alone in MT and another single friend told me her fear was that she would have a major injury or die and no one would think to look for her until it was much much too late. After that, it was always in the back of my mind.
