I recently have been thinking of a life-changing moment that occurred a few years ago. I had finished graduate school and was taking some much-needed respite by staying with my sister in Salt Lake. I was trying to figure out my next step, feeling a bit alone, and then found out that an ex-boyfriend was having a baby.

So you may have noticed a slight decline in the consistency of posting. My apologies! What I have discovered is that I don't do a good job of maintaining a blog when life gets crazy.

Happy Memorial Day!

There was a great talk in church on Sunday that contained information on the creation of Memorial Day and what it means. The speaker encouraged our ward to make sure those who have lost their lives for our freedom have had their temple work done and that we seek our records to ensure they have been cared for. This is a great idea and I would like to post his recommendation. What a blessing to live in this land of freedom and have the blessings of the Gospel!!!
