Happy Mother's Day! What a wonderful tradition of pausing to celebrate such an important eternal role. Motherhood encompasses so much...from bearing children, to providing solace and comfort, to teaching and raising aright. I am grateful for all of the mothers in my life. My mother has given and sacrificed much for me and I am eternally grateful. To those who are mothers around me - thank you for your wonderful example of love, patience, kindness, and dutifulness. I have been blessed to have so many wonderful mothers around me throughout my life. From my own sweet mom to the woman my mom would trust in her place. To good friends and family. And now I watch my sister be a mom and I am amazed. What a blessing it has been to have Sister Dew articulate the truth that all women, whether or not they have children, can be mothers and provide support, love, and teaching moments to the next generation.
So thank you mothers. Your role is of eternal importance. Thank you for choosing life!
